FREE TO . . . . . .

Life should be a simple way, Of living free from day to day.
Free from hate, fear and despair, Free from being with those who don’t care.
Free from harm, anger and the like, Free to sleep peacefully at night.
Free from pain that ravages so, Free to be able to come and go.
Free to love and live and learn, Free to be employed to earn.
Free to see the morning sun, Free to watch the animals run.
Free to touch and feel so soft,  Those we dearly love so oft.
Free to cry when this need be, Free to pray on bended knee.
Free to live wherever we like, Free to paint our houses white.
Free to play with our children so, Free  to teach them so they will know.
Free to laugh at funny things,  Free to enjoy life and be able to sing.
Free to see the joy in one’s eyes, Free to make happy those in our lives.
Free to chose good or bad, Free to pursue the life we’ve had.
Free to study and learn His ways, Free to listen to what His book says.
Free to whiten my soul so dear, Free to live with God so near.
Free to pray in times of distress, Free to hope for a time of rest.
Free to soar to heaven above, Free to be engulfed in His beautiful love.
